    Jay Is a second-generation builder, obtaining extensive knowledge of construction from his father, mentor and builder/developer Lea Rutter jr., during his summers of high school and college jay worked on various crews including paint, framing and concrete, eventually working his way up to project management. Jay attended LSU for construction management before becoming state licensed and starting J. build co in 2005, Jay continues to be a hands-on builder, and project manages every project with our boutique team.

As Jay is the main project manager, state licensed since 2005, and has completed many complex projects, you can be confident we possess the knowledge, expertise, attention to detail and craftsmanship to deliver your vision.
